BAE Systems says earnings will be "marginally higher"
A more optimistic BAE Systems has revealed that full year earnings are likely to be "marginally higher" as it highlighted the good progress the company was making in 2015.

Since reporting an 8.5% decline in sales and a 12% slide in underlying operating profits at its final results in February, the defence contractor has started to feel more cause for optimism.
"Our business is making good progress in 2015," chief executive Ian King said in a statement ahead of the company's annual shareholder meeting.
"We continue to win new business, meet key milestones on our major programmes and develop technologies and skills that underpin our future success."
He added that, following the strong performance in the first half of 2014 that resulted from good programme execution on the Typhoon programme, trading performance in 2015 is expected to have greater second half bias.
Two weeks ago, BAE confirmed it was pondering a disposal of its US-based manpower and services businesses, which operates in the US intelligence and security sector, after receiving some takeover interest.
