Bomhard, who is currently president of Bacardi Limited's European region, will take over after Lacroix steps down at the end of March.
The new chief has also worked as chief commercial officer of Cadbury and chief operating officer of Foodsolutions, Europe, a division of Unilever.
“I feel confident that his style and approach will fit extremely well with Inchcape's values,” said chairman Ken Hanna.
