Jardine Lloyd Thompson has revealed it will boost its total 2014 dividend payment 6.3% after recording increased pre-tax profit for the same year.

The company declared a final dividend of 18.3p per share, raising the yearly total to 28.9p per share compared to 27.2 pence the 12 months prior.
Chief executive Dominic Burke said: “Despite a challenging insurance rating environment, we are confident in JLT's revenue growth momentum and in our strategy of continuing to invest to deliver sustainable long term earnings growth.”
The firm’s pre-tax profit rose 3% to $245.9m for the year ended 31 December 2014 while total revenue advanced 13% to £1.10bn in the same period.
