Yoox in talks with Net-A-Porter over potential deal
Online fashion retailer Net-A-Porter is believed to once again be holding talks with Italian firm Yoox about the potential sale of the UK-based company.
The deal could value Net-A-Porter at £1.3bn, according to the Sunday Times.
The company, which was set up by Natalie Massenet 15 years ago, has undergone rapid growth, with its most recent results showing operating profit of £22.4m and losses before tax of close to £10m for the year ended March 2014.
Massenet previously told the newspaper the company knows "exactly what we are doing and when we are doing it".
If a sale goes ahead, the consideration is apparently likely to be in shares rather than cash.
