Greek F-16 fighter crashes in Spain killing 10 people
A fighter jet has crashed into a military base in Spain killing 10 people, the Defence Ministry said on Monday.
According to officials, the Greek F-16 jet crashed into other planes at the Los Llanos airbase in Albacete in central Spain before exploding.
Initial reports from the local media suggest that one of the pilots performed a wrong manoeuvre at takeoff, causing the plane to crash.
Both pilots were killed, while 13 people have been injured, six of them seriously, according to military officials.
