                            Closure of Oneword Radio

Further to its announcement in November 2007 UBC Media Group plc ("UBC")
confirms that it will today close the loss making digital radio station, Oneword
Radio. UBC took control of Oneword Radio from Channel 4 Television in December
2007 in order to effect an orderly closure.

Commenting on the closure, Simon Cole, CEO of UBC said:
"With the sale in June 2007 of Classic Gold for £3.95 million and the closure of
Oneword Radio, UBC has now completed the implementation of a strategy that sees
us 100% focussed as a radio services company".
