                             NAMIBIAN RESOURCES PLC

                             PLACING OF NEW SHARES

Namibian Resources PLC announces that it has placed 1,000,000 new ordinary
shares of 10p each at par with its directors to raise £100,000. Application is
being made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and such
admission is expected to become effective on 29th February 2008.

The cash of £100,000 will be used for working capital and to complete the
purchase of additional equipment and for repairs to increase the throughput of
diamondiferous gravels and provide a back up in the event of plant breakdowns.

The placing has been taken up as follows:
