                               Holding in Company


Alexander David Investments PLC ("the Company") received notification today that
Mr  Paul Johnson has  acquired a further  3,000,000 shares in the  Company. As a
result  of  this  acquisition,  Mr  Johnson  now  has an interest of 32,853,249
ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 8.19 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.

The issued share capital of the Company comprises 401,037,451 ordinary shares of
0.01 pence each.
