Transaction in own shares

bwin.party announces that on 9 February 2012 it purchased, through an independent third party, 188,324 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 171.38 pence per share. The highest price paid was 172.70 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 170.40 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 21,903,953 shares for cancellation, since 6 September 2011 when the buy-back programme commenced. The total number of bwin.party shares in issue is 831,005,318 and the total number of voting rights in issue is 828,308,174 (total number of shares in issue minus 2,697,144 shares held by the employee benefit trust in respect of which the voting rights have been waived).
