$1.7M IN NEW CONTRACT WINS FOR MANROY USA LLC

Manroy Plc ("Manroy"), the AIM quoted leading UK machine gun manufacturer, is pleased to announce that Manroy USA LLC ("MUSA"), its US associated company, in which it owns a 49% interest  has recently received  US$1.7 million (£1.1 million) of new contracts.

The contracts are:

1.     An award for MUSA's Mk43 Electronic Boresight System (EBS) in support of a US Air Force weapons programme. The EBS is utilised within a weapon system in the precision boresighting of cannons and can be operated by a single person.

2.     An award for MUSA's EBS in support of a valuable commercial partner's weapons programmes.

3.     An award for MUSA's EBS in support of a US Navy weapons programme.

4.     An award for M2 and M3 .50" calibre Aircraft Barrels in support of US weapons programmes.  This award initiates production of the .50" calibre barrel production line, which has a potential capacity of over 1,000 barrels per month.

5.     An award for rifle components in support of one of MUSA's valuable commercial partners for civilian rifle products.

Glyn Bottomley, Manroy's Chief Executive, said: "These five contract awards are very significant for MUSA. The EBS awards mean Manroy's system is now in service with US DoD, with significant opportunities for future contracts. Likewise, the barrel award will accelerate .50" calibre barrel production for the US DoD, with major opportunities for future contract awards of both the standard .50" calibre barrel and the Aircraft variant.  The award for rifle components shows the versatility of MUSA production and puts us firmly in the civilian rifle component manufacturing arena in addition to military rifle production."
