Cancellation of Treasury Shares

Alternative Investment Strategies Limited (the "Company") announces that on 20 June 2012 it cancelled 275,000 of its Sterling Hedged Shares ("Shares") held in Treasury.  Following this cancellation, the Company holds 4,130,487 Shares in Treasury.  The total number of Shares in issue (excluding Shares in Treasury) is 151,689,509.

All shareholders have equal voting rights based on the number of shares held.  Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 151,689,509 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
