                 Oriel Resources Plc ("Oriel" or the "Company")
                              Exercise of warrants
________________________________________________________________________________


Oriel Resources plc (AIM:ORI, TSX:ORL) announces that warrants (AIM:ORIW) over
ordinary shares of 1p each in the share capital of the Company were exercised on
25 April 2008.


Details of the warrants exercised are as follows:

Number of warrants                         Exercise Price
     1,585,000                                  75p

Accordingly, application will be made for 1,585,000 ordinary shares of 1p each
in the Company, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be
admitted to trading on AIM. The admission is expected to occur on or about 2 May
2008. Following the exercise of these warrants the total issued capital of the
Company will be 641,308,213 ordinary shares.
