          GMG commissions four documentary series from UBC Media Group


London, 30 April 2008: UBC Media Group plc (UBC.L) today announces that it and
Smooth Operations (Productions) Ltd, its specialist independent radio and TV
production arm, have been commissioned by Guardian Media Group (GMG) to make
four major documentary series for the Smooth Radio network.

UBC Media has been ordered to make 1968: The Year that Rocked the World, a
four-part special focusing on the events of one of the most talked about years
in recent history.

Smooth Operations (Productions) Ltd will produce three series: The Rolling River
of Rock, a seven-part journey exploring the music of the Mississippi river and
its tributaries; Rock In The Dock, an entertaining exploration of famous musical
court cases and Blogs from the Bunker, an audio diary of the experiences of
soldiers serving in Iraq.

The Rolling River of Rock music series is in production and is due to broadcast
in seven parts from Saturday June 14. Rock In the Dock will be aired in August
and Blogs from the Bunker will go out in November.
