                            Appointment of Directors


Following the completion of the acquisition of the Company by Impala Holdings
Limited, a subsidiary of Pearl Group Limited ("Pearl"), announced yesterday,
Resolution plc is pleased to announce that Jonathan Moss and Simon Smith were
appointed as directors of the Company on 1 May 2008.


Jonathan Moss has overall responsibility for the enlarged Pearl Group as Chief
Executive Officer.  Simon Smith is the Group Finance Director for the enlarged
Pearl Group.


It is confirmed that there are no details to be disclosed in relation to
Jonathan Moss and Simon Smith under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
