Holding in Company 

In compliance with article 15A of the Company's articles of association, Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited ("the Fund") wishes to make the following declaration.

On 13 May 2008, the Fund acquired a holding in the Company of 11,499,911 shares (Sedol B073G36 ISIN GB00B073G363), representing 4.11% of the Company's share capital (on the basis of a total number of shares in issue of 279,967,700) and thereby crossing the 4% threshold in the share capital of the Company. These shares are held on behalf of the Fund by Morsten Nominees Limited.
