Change in directorate

ITV plc announces that Sir Brian Pitman has retired from the Board on Thursday 15 May 2008 following the Company's Annual General Meeting.

Sir Brian Pitman was Chairman of ITV plc on its formation and has been a non-executive director since 2004. He was previously a non-executive director of Carlton Communications Plc since March 1998.  He has been a member of the Nomination Committee, Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee of the Board.  

Michael Grade, Executive Chairman of ITV, said: "On behalf of the board and shareholders I would like to thank Sir Brian for his contribution since the merger establishing ITV and wish him continuing success in his business interests elsewhere."
