HAIKE CHEMICAL GROUP LIMITED
("HaiKe" or the "Company")

AGM STATEMENT

HaiKe, the petrochemical, specialty chemical and biochemical business based in China, held its Annual General Meeting earlier today at the premises of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, 19th Floor, Yintai Center Office Tower, 2 Jianguomenwai Avenue, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China.  The following resolutions, as set out in the Notice of the Annual General Meeting dated 20 May 2008, have been approved:  

1. To receive and consider the Directors' Report and Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2007. 

2. To re-elect BDO Stoy Hayward LLP as auditors and to authorise the Directors to fix the remuneration of the auditors.

3. To re-elect Mr. Johnson Lau, who retires by rotation, as non-executive Director of the Company.

4.  To re-elect Professor Chunming Xu, who retires by rotation, as non-executive Director of the Company. 

At the meeting, Mr. Yang Xiaohong, Chairman, made the following statement:

"This is the second Annual General Meeting for HaiKe since its Admission to AIM on 14 February 2007.  It has been an exciting year for HaiKe and excellent progress has been made across all areas of the business. We believe that HaiKe is on course to achieve its goals and that growth will continue to be driven by strong demand for our products. Going forward, we will also continue to focus on the high-margin areas of the speciality chemical and biochemical businesses, where we see considerable opportunity to deliver further growth and value."
