Dealing in the Listed Securities of Chrysalis plc

We confirm that we were notified that on 4 June 2008 following the exercise of awards over 24,256 ordinary shares of 2p each in Chrysalis plc and in accordance with the rules of the Company's Restricted Share Scheme, Halifax EES Trustees International Limited, the Trustees of the Company's Employee Share Ownership Plan ("ESOP") authorised the transfer out of 24,256 Chrysalis shares for this purpose.

Before the above transaction, Halifax EES Trustees International Limited were interested in 99,677 Ordinary Shares of 2p each representing 0.148% of the issued shared capital of the Company and, immediately after the transaction, Halifax EES Trustees International Limited were interested in 75,421 Ordinary Shares of 2p each representing 0.112% of the issued share capital of the Company. 

All of the Executive Directors of the Company have a technical interest in the shares since they are able to benefit under the ESOP.
