Exercise of options

Kalahari Minerals Plc ('Kalahari' or 'the Company') announces that on 24 June 2008, Mark Hohnen, executive chairman of Kalahari, exercised 1,500,000 options into new ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') in Kalahari at a subscription price of 8p per share.

In addition, a further 1,500,000 options have been exercised into new Ordinary Shares in Kalahari at a subscription price of 8p per share. 

Application will be made for the 3,000,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM.

The Company's Total Voting Capital following the admission of the new Ordinary Shares will be 166,559,130 Ordinary Shares.
