Disclosure of Interests in Shares under the Transparency Obligations Directive (Disclosure and Transparency Rules) Instrument 2006

M&G Equity Investment Trust P.L.C. (M&G EIT) announces that it has today been informed that Prudential plc and certain of its subsidiaries are interested in 90,821,125 M&G EIT Income shares representing 52.98% of the issued capital of Income shares. 89,515,728 of the said shares are held on behalf of M&G PEP and ISA account holders.
