Purchase of own securities

On 26 June 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 40,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of £26.4251 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 11,959,970 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 710,413,542 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
