Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has today been informed that on 1 July 2008 a total of 877 Ordinary Shares of 5p each were purchased, at a price of 329.0 pence per share, for Mr Kenneth Rooney, Chief Executive of the Company, under a dividend reinvestment programme operated by the Company's registrars.

Following this transaction, Mr Rooney is interested in 162,996 shares, representing 0.53% of the total shares in issue.
