Transaction in own shares

Kingspan Group plc. announces that on 2 July 2008 Goodbody purchased, on behalf of the Company, 200,000 ordinary shares in Kingspan Group plc., at an average price of EUR5.75 per share.

The highest price paid was EUR5.85 per share (excluding expenses) and the lowest price paid was EUR5.60 (excluding expenses). All the purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 3,823,750 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. 

The Company has 167,327,787 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares). The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
