Substitution of Yorkshire Water Services Finance plc as issuer of the Bonds originally issued by Kelda Group Limited (formerly, Kelda Group plc)

Kelda Group Limited (formerly, Kelda Group plc) ("Kelda") announces that with effect from and including 3 July 2008, Kelda has been substituted with Yorkshire Water Services Finance plc (a subsidiary of Yorkshire Water Services Limited) as principal debtor under the Bonds (being, the £200 million 6 7/8 per cent. Guaranteed Bonds due 2010 unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Yorkshire Water Services Limited (ISIN: XS0086005971) (the "2010 Bonds") and £ 150 million 6.625 per cent. Guaranteed Bonds due 2031 unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Yorkshire Water Services Limited (ISIN: XS0109437441) and £90 million 6.625 per cent. Guaranteed Bonds due 2031 unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Yorkshire Water Services Limited (consolidated and forming a single series with the £150 million 6.625 per cent. Guaranteed Bonds due 2031) (ISIN: XS0109437441) (the "2031 Bonds", and together with the 2010 Bonds, the "Bonds").

The Bonds remain guaranteed by Yorkshire Water Services Limited and the credit ratings of the Bonds are not expected to change as a result of the substitution.
