Halfords Group plc - Total Voting Rights 

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, 

Halfords Group plc ("the Company") would like to notify the market of the 

following: 

As at 30 June 2008, the Company's issued share capital consists of 211,331,119 

Ordinary 1p shares, with voting rights attached of one vote per Ordinary share. 

The Company holds no shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting 

rights in the Company is 211,331,119. 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
