Completion of sale of certain assets of Carlton Screen Advertising Ltd ("CSA")

Further to the announcement on 6 March 2008,  ITV plc today announces the completion of the sale of certain assets of CSA to Digital Cinema Media Limited, a joint venture vehicle formed between Cineworld Group plc ("Cineworld") and Odeon Cinemas Limited ("Odeon"), for cash consideration of £0.5 million. Regulatory approval for this sale was obtained on 1 July 2008.  

Strategic options for the remaining assets of CSA, including the Irish operations, will be considered in the coming months.
