DIRECTOR DECLARATION

Kingfisher plc ("the Company")

Following the announcement, on 17 July 2008, of the appointment of Kevin O'Byrne as an Executive Director of Kingfisher with effect from 1 October 2008, the following information is given in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.

Kevin O'Byrne was appointed as a director of DSG international plc on 19 July 2004 and will resign from DSG international plc effective from 14 August 2008.  

Kevin O'Byrne has not held a directorship in any other publicly quoted company in the past five years.

There are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.

The Company has been advised that Kevin O'Byrne has no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.
