Renewal of put and call agreement on MBFG shares

Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 23 July 2008 it has sold 15,000 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of € 16.36 per share for a total consideration of € 245,400.

As a result of this transaction, BDH currently holds 18,206,379 ordinary shares of MBFG, representing 60.88% of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.

Burani Designer Holding N.V. also announces that it has renewed, for a period up to 30 October 2008, the put and call option agreement over 280,000 MBFG shares first announced on 14 January 2008 and renewed the fist time on 29 April 2008. All other terms of the original agreement are unchanged.
