NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTOR'S DEALINGS

United Business Media Limited has today been notified of the following dealings in its ordinary shares of 10 pence:

Transfer of shares in the company made on 4 August 2008 by the Trustees of the United Business Media ESOP Trust to Nigel Wilson, an executive director of the company, following the exercise of options granted under the Medium Term Incentive Plan ("MTIP") and the Senior Executive Equity Participation Plan ("SEEPP"). All the Ordinary shares were sold on 4 August 2008 at a price of 569.2833p per share.
