Burani Designer Holding N.V (AIM: BRDH), a company offering Italian lifestyle products and services to customers world-wide, today notes that the company's listed leather goods division, Antichi Pellettieri, majority owned by BDH's subsidiary Mariella Burani Fashion Group S.p.A (MBFG), in which BDH holds a 60.88% stake, made the following announcement yesterday after market close:

ANTICHI PELLETTIERI HAS RECEIVED APPROVAL FROM EUROPEAN ANTITRUST AUTHORITY FOR THE SALE OF A 49% STAKE OF APBags, THE HANDBAGS AND ACCESSORIES DIVISION OF ANTICHI PELLETTIERI, TO 3I

The sale of 49% of APB SpA ("Antichi Pellettieri Bags" or "APBags") to 3i closed today, subsequent to approval received from the European Antitrust Authority. APBags is the newly formed sub-holding of ANTICHI PELLETTIERI S.p.A, (handbags & accessories), a leading Leather Goods company controlled by Mariella Burani Fashion Group S.p.A. 

Please note that today the Standing Auditor Fabrizio Fontanesi tendered his resignation due to other professional commitments and that pursuant to Art. 2401 of the Italian Civil Code, Elvira Grazzini, currently serving as an Alternate Auditor, will be assuming the position of Standing Auditor.
