Zambezi received notice on 7 August 2008 that CopperCo Limited ("CopperCo") had acquired a relevant interest in 9,905,000 ordinary fully paid shares in Zambezi on 4 August 2008 as a result of its takeover offer for Mineral Securities Limited being declared unconditional.


CopperCo's interest in 9,905,000 ordinary shares represents 5.26% of the issued share capital of the Company.
