Notification of transactions of Directors

SDL plc ("the Company") was advised yesterday that Alastair Gordon, Chief Financial Officer, has exercised 100,000 options and sold them at a price of 350p per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Gordon has reduced his interest in the Company from options over 248,000 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.33% of the Company's issued share capital) to options over 148,000 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.20% of the Company's issued share capital).  He also holds awards totalling 91,021 shares made under the SDL PLC 2006 Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP).

The Company was also advised yesterday that Keith Mills, Chief Technical Officer, has exercised 150,000 options and sold them at a price of 350p per Ordinary Share. 

Following this transaction, Mr Mills has reduced his interest in the Company from options over 280,000 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.37% of the Company's issued share capital) to options over 130,000 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.17% of the Company's issued share capital).  

He also holds 71,231 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.09% of the Company's issued share capital) and awards totalling 142,319 shares made under the SDL PLC 2006 LTIP.
