HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 3 September 2008 it purchased for cancellation 32,049 of its ordinary shares at a price of 299.0466p per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company have now bought back 22,315,646 shares for cancellation, since the 8 June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
