Offer by FKI plc to purchase its EUR 600,000,000 6.625 per cent Guaranteed Bonds due 2010 (the "Tender Offer")

FKI plc wishes to announce that it intends to proceed as planned and purchase all those bonds tendered by the Expiration Deadline of 4.00 p.m. on Friday 19th September 2008, London time, as set out in the Tender Offer announced on 29 August 2008.

Based on instructions received by 4.00 p.m. on Friday 12th September 2008, London time, approximately EUR 402,000,000 (67%) in aggregate nominal amount of the bonds have so far been validly tendered for purchase by FKI plc.    

All bondholders who have yet to submit a valid instruction to tender their bonds continue to be invited to do so before the Expiration Deadline.
