RESULT OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND THE EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING 

Kiwara, the Zambian based exploration Company, is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held in London earlier today were duly passed. 

Shareholders are advised that at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Kiwara shareholders held today, the requisite majority of shareholders approved the resolutions, in terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, authorising the directors of Kiwara to issue shares and an option in shares to NAMF Nominees (Proprietary) Limited ("NAMF") in terms of the agreement entered into between Kiwara and NAMF.
