PetroLatina (AIM: PELE), the oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Latin America, received notification on 30 September 2008 from RAB Capital plc that, following the disposal of 905,000 ordinary shares of US$0.50 each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 29 September 2008, RAB Special Situations (Master) Fund Limited is interested in 5,648,859 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 12.87 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
