Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has today been informed by its registrars that on 26 September 2008 a total of 1,023 Ordinary Shares of 5p each were purchased, at a price of 285 pence per share for Mr Kenneth Rooney, Chief Executive under a dividend reinvestment programme operated by the Company's registrars.

Following this transaction, Mr Rooney is interested in 164,472 shares, representing 0.54% of the total shares in issue.
