Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") EXERCISE OF OPTIONS

The Company has today been informed by Dr John Barber, Finance Director, of the following transaction in ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Exercise of options over 2,680 Ordinary Shares in the Company at a price of 186.5 pence per share. These shares were held by Personal Group Trustees Limited (a company wholly owned by the Company which operates the Company's All Employee Share Option Plan (AESOP) and Company's Share Option Plan (CSOP) schemes).

Following this transaction, Dr John Barber has increased his beneficial holding to 327,496 shares, representing 1.07 per cent of the issued share capital of the company.
