Share buy back by the Company
1997 Concert Party Holding
The Company announces that on 2 October 2008, it bought 2,000,000 Units in the market for cancellation at 70 pence per Unit. Following the buy back, the Company will have a total of 72,371,482 Units in issue. Each Unit comprises one Ordinary Share and 20 'B' Shares, the terms of which were set out in the Prospectus of the Company dated 26 March 2008 and are summarised on the Company's website at
http://www.mwb.co.uk/mwb/faqs.jsp#answer3. These purchases were made in accordance with the Cash Distribution Programme of the Company also referred to in the Prospectus of the Company.
Following this purchase by the Company of 2,000,000 Units for cancellation, the 1997 Concert Party comprising the Executive Directors of the Company and certain related parties referred to in the Circular to Shareholders dated 9 May 2008, will continue to own a total of 21,479,168 Units. This holding has increased from 28.88 per cent of the previous number of Units in issue to 29.68 per cent. of the reduced number of 72,371,482 Units in issue.
