APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
National Express Group PLC ("the Group") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jorge Cosmen to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board with immediate effect.
Jorge joined the Board as a non executive director on 1 December 2005 upon ALSA joining the Group.
Commenting on the Board changes, David Ross, Chairman of National Express Group said: "I am delighted that Jorge has agreed to take up the newly created role of Deputy Chairman. In this role he will be providing support to both Richard Bowker and me with the Company's plans for business development and growth, particularly in the context of international expansion."
