PAUL MYNERS STEPS DOWN AS A DIRECTOR AND CHAIRMAN

Land Securities announces that Paul Myners has stood down as Director and Chairman of the Company to take up a position as the Under Secretary of State and Minister for the City in the Treasury with immediate effect.

The Board thanks him for his valuable contribution to the Company and has initiated a process for the appointment of a successor to the role of Chairman.  Senior Independent Director, David Rough, will help lead the Board through the process of finding a successor.
