6 October 2008 MISYS plc RESULT OF ADJOURNED EGM

Misys plc (FTSE: MSY.L) announces that at the Company's adjourned Extraordinary General Meeting held today, 6 October 2008 to approve the proposed merger of Misys Healthcare Systems, LLC with a subsidiary of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. and related transactions, the resolution put to shareholders was duly passed on a show of hands.

Copies of the resolution have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility which is situated at:

Details of the levels of proxy appointments and associated voting instructions received prior to the meeting will be available later today on the Company's website (www.misys.com) under Investor Centre/Shareholder Services.

Completion of the proposed transactions is subject to the satisfaction of the remaining conditions summarised in the circular to shareholders dated 3 September 2008. Subject to satisfaction of closing conditions, Misys expects the closing to occur on or about 10 October 2008.
