Fidessa group plc ("the Company") Director / PDMR shareholdings

The Company has been notified that on 6 October 2008 the following transactions occurred:

Upon the purchase of participant shares in respect of the 2008 awards under the Fidessa group plc Share Bonus Plan Stephen Barrow, a person discharging managerial responsibility in the Company, has acquired 5,004 ordinary shares in the Company at 694p per share. Following this notification his shareholding is 365,910 shares in the issued share capital of the Company, constituting 1.04% of the issued share capital.

The Fidessa group plc Share Bonus Trust acquired a total of 5,645 ordinary shares in the Company to satisfy the potential call of vested 2008 awards and NIC hedging on vested 2008 awards in respect of the Fidessa group plc Share Bonus Plan. As potential beneficiaries of the Trust, the executive directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility are deemed to have a potential beneficial interest in the Trust's shares.
