TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc announces that it has today purchased 115,691 ordinary shares at an average price of 505.5 pence. The highest and lowest price paid for these shares were 516.75 pence and 495 pence respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying option grants and share awards made under the Company's employee share plans.
Following the purchase of these shares, Close Brothers Group plc holds 4,899,641 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 144,573,525 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
