Application for new ordinary shares to be admitted to AIM

Verdes Management plc (AIM: VMP), the specialist turnaround services provider, is pleased  to announce that it has placed 61,666,667 new ordinary shares at  a price of 0.3p per share ("the Placing Shares"), with clients of WH Ireland, conditional on admission to AIM.

Application will be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to AIM and dealings are expected to commence in the Placing Shares on Thursday 22 September 2011.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.6.1R) the Company hereby notifies the market that immediately following admission of the Placing Shares its issued share capital will comprise 383,766,772 Ordinary Shares.  The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.  Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules
