                                 Berong Update

Toledo  is pleased to announce that the MV Vinalines Brave sailed for China with
52,350 wet  metric tonnes  ("wmt") of  nickel ore  thereby completing the second
shipment  of high grade, 1.8% nickel grade  material from the Berong mine.  High
grade shipments to date now total 105,950 wmt.

As  previously reported, BNC  will continue to  make high grade shipments whilst
the weather remains favourable.  Further updates will be provided in due course.
