Lord Rothschild, a director of RIT Capital Partners plc ('RITCP': the issuer), has today advised the Company in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the UK Listing Authority that his family interests in the £1 ordinary shares of RITCP comprise the following:

 

12,187,731 shares (7.92% of issued) held beneficially.

 

16,008,359 shares (10.40% of issued) held non-beneficially.

 

This notification follows a donation on 13 December 2011 of 6,072,310 shares (3.95% of issued) from certain family trusts of which Lord Rothschild is a beneficiary, to a Rothschild family charity of which he is Patron and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
