LONDON (ShareCast) - Entertainment group Optimistic said it has made 'significant' progress in the last six months with sustained revenue growth within its OML division and improved performance across the business.

Excluding any acquisitions, restructuring costs or other exceptional costs, it expects to break even at the operating level from the second half of 2007.

Protection equipment manufacturer CEPS is to acquire Sunline Direct Mail Ltd for an initial consideration of £3.8m.

Deferred consideration of up to a maximum of £500,000 will be payable dependent on future trading performance.

The group will raise £2.37m via a placing and said that every existing share of 0.1p will be consolidated into 1 new ordinary share of 5p.

Superscape said for the quarter and nine months to October, it has continued to achieve growth in line with expectations.

Total revenues for the three months to October rose 122% to £2.1m while on a nine month period it rose 156% to £6.2m.

Medical technology group Alltracel said it remains comfortable with analysts' expectations of it reaching full year profitability for 2006.

The group said its oral care business continues to perform strongly and following the termination of its exploratory talks last month to dispose the division, it has decided to grow the business through further investment and potential M&A activity.

Blavod Extreme said United Kingdom shipments increased by over 62% for the three months to December and international shipment rose over 33%, mainly in German and Russian duty free.

US shipments also increased in the period, led by the tequila brand El Diamante del Cielo, which was up 62%.
