Small caps round-up: Energy Asset Management, IX Europe, Essentially

LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in Energy Asset Management soared after the group said it had been awarded a contract by Woolworths to provide half hourly electricity consumption data for around 700 stores.
The deal includes the management, supply and installation of the electricity meters. Woolworths is currently considering a similar solution for its gas meters and is undertaking a trial with the group.
Datacentre services group IX Europe said it wants to raise approximately £5.1m from the placing of 8.6m shares at a price of 59p per share. The group said the new funds raised will help accelerate its rapid development in the UK and across Europe.
Sports marketing and management firm Essentially said it is restructuring its Motorsport business that includes a name change and the appointment of a CEO.
The name, formerly Essentially Motorsport, will be changed to Accelerate Motorsport, while Mark Hankins has been appointed as the new CEO of the arm.
ReGen Therapeutics said initial studies on mice show the oral administration of Colostrinin(TM) prolongs life-span and improved age-associated coordination and memory capacities.
The group said these results support the view that the drug has the potential to manage age-related neurodegenerative diseases.
Food and beverage firm Conival said it has launched its Sparky Superfoods smoothie daily shot in 140 Tesco Extra and Hyper stores, prior to a national rollout.
