LONDON (ShareCast) - Clover Corporation saw a massive sale in its shares today when former executive chairman Hamish Drummond and his wife sold a whopping 14m shares in the food group.
Clover shares have raced ahead over the last twelve months, and news last week that the group had swung in to a small profit for the year from a loss last time just helped to push them that little bit further.
The sale of 14m shares at A$0.65, equivalent to 9.26% of its issued share capital, raked in just over A$9m for eth husband and wife team.
Following the share sale, the Drummond’s now have a combined interest of almost 28m shares.
Elsewhere co-founder of Computacenter Philip Hulme disposed of a little of his holding today, with the sale of 250,000 shares at £4.41 to net more than £1m.
Hulme also sold 150,000 shares held by a non-beneficial interest at £4.45 each.
The sale, which still leaves Hulme with a holding of over 40m shares, comes just two days after the computer distributor issued its first ever dividend and posted an upbeat forecast for the rest of the year.
The group added that looking ahead, if market conditions remain the same, it should be able to sustain its current performance.
